Koenig Solutions delivers authorized training for SolarWinds, aligning with official curriculum and exam objectives to ensure technical readiness.
Koenig offers training for multiple SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) exams, including SCP-NPM, SCP-NCM, SCP-SAM, SCP-DBA, SCP-Observability SaaS Fundamentals, and SCP-Service Desk. Each course maps to a product-specific certification with official exam preparation guides.
SolarWinds training is designed for IT professionals in network, systems, or application management roles with at least one year of technical experience and six months of hands-on work with SolarWinds products. It suits administrators, engineers, and consultants managing enterprise IT environments.
SolarWinds recommends candidates have at least one year in a technical IT role and six months of on-the-job experience with SolarWinds tools. While no formal eligibility is required, familiarity with features like PerfStack, NetPath, and AppStack is advised before attempting SCP exams.
The SCP exam consists of 75 multiple-choice questions, lasts 90 minutes, and requires a 70% score to pass. Exams are proctored online via PSI Services. The exam voucher is not included in standard Koenig training but can be added as an optional purchase.
SolarWinds courses typically run 24–32 hours over 3–4 days. Koenig offers live online instructor-led training, 1-on-1 sessions, private batches, classroom training, and flexi self-paced options, all with guaranteed-to-run dates and hands-on labs.
SolarWinds training at Koenig starts at approximately CAD 2,000 for public batches and CAD 2,550 for 1-on-1 sessions. Fees include live instruction, official e-courseware, lab access, and a certificate of completion, with optional exam vouchers available.
The SolarWinds SCP exam fee is US$200. This cost is separate from training and must be paid directly to SolarWinds or through THWACK community points. The fee includes one free retake if taken within one year of the initial attempt.
